Front Yard Landscaping Update

This project included the removal of all existing landscaping rock and edging in the front yard. The removal of several overgrown shrubs. Pruning of several large trees in the front yard. Regrading of dirt along the foundation to improve drainage. Installation of new black plastic edging expanding this around the large maple tree. Installing river rock around the house foundation and mulch around the large maple tree. Adding additional topsoil and regrading the front yard. Seeding and covering the front yard with hay matting to protect the grass seed during its initial grown phase. This customer elected to not to plant new shrubs in the front as part of this project.

Retaining Wall Rehabilitation

This project entailed constructing approximately 90' of retaining wall two courses high with a cap block. It replaced an existing wall that had deteriorated over time but utilized existing block. A new foundation was constructed and the wall set further back into the yard on one end at the customers request. Drainage was incorporated in the new wall design.

Paver Patio Expansion

This customer had an existing paver patio along the far end of the pool. They wanted to expand the patio along the entire side of the pool and create a walkway to the pool from the front yard. Existing paver colors were matched. The customer elected to complete the surrounding patio landscaping on their own. This project was complex in that it required the patio to match several different grades along the existing patio, pool edge and fence line.
